Some of the day activities we provide are arts-focussed such as drama, dancing, art, craft; sports focussed, such as football, swimming, gym, walking group, 10 pin bowling and lawn bowls; skills building such as personal safety skills, volunteering, cooking and other household chores, banking and other money skills, personal care and personal presentation skills.
We have staff and contractors with various talents, skills, interests and formal qualifications which they enthusiastically share with people with disabilities.
Some of the activities may include people sharing the outcome of their artistic creations such as a dance, drama or art exhibition – this is the choice of the participants. Our main focus in regard to these activities is to facilitate people discovering and utilising their strengths and developing self-confidence and self-awareness.
We are willing to investigate and identify any suggestions people have in regard to trying something new.
